How can I inflate an Airtrack?
You can inflate an Airtrack by means of a foot pump or an electric pump, which is supplied with your Airtrack.
What length and thickness is Airtrack suitable for my children?
Which thickness of Airtrack is most suitable for your child depends entirely on which sport he or she practices and how big your child is.
12SPRINGS SPORTS has 5 different thicknesses. 5cm (Slim), 10cm (Standard), 15cm (Comfort), 20cm (Plus) and 30cm (Pro). The thicker the Airtrack, the more you can play with the pressure and the easier it is to learn a trick/acrobatic element. Up to the age of 14 there is little to no bounce difference between the 15cm and 20cm thickness. The length to be chosen depends of course first of all on which length you can store in your house or garden. Secondly, what you want to use the Airtrack for. To learn acrobatic elements, you can assume 1 acrobatic element on a 3m (e.g. a flip, cartwheel, Arabian, somersault, etc.), 2 elements on a 4m and 3 on a 5 or 6m. For sound advice, please contact us by e-mail (info@12springssports.com) or telephone (+31 (0)318-512614) or +31 (0) 6-14339925.
For which athletes is an Airtrack suitable?
The 12SPRINGS Airtracks can be used for many different purposes. In addition to the fact that we often sell our Airtracks to gymnasts and freerunners, they are also widely used for dance, yoga or martial arts. Trampoline parks, schools or nurseries also frequently purchase our Air products. For primary schools, for example, we have also developed an Educational Airtrack Set including lesson folder and videos, which gives a new dimension to learning through movement and stimulating children’s executive functions.
What is the lifespan of an Airtrack?
The lifespan of an Airtrack depends on the frequency of use and how economically it is used. With good and neat use, the average lifespan is 10 years or longer.
Is there a warranty on an Airtrack?
Yes. We have a standard 3-year warranty on manufacturing defects. A new Airtrack valve or hose of the Airtrack pump can also be ordered separately via our webshop.
Are the Airtracks easy to take with you?
Yes. All our Airtracks and Airpoducts can be rolled up into a small package and come standard with a handy carrying bag to carry your Airtrack or Airproduct (this does not apply to the 2m wide Airtracks).
How hard should an Airtrack be?
How hard your Airtrack should be depends entirely on what sport is being practiced, which elements or tricks you perform and the weight of the user. Always make sure that you never touch the ground when using it and that you check the hardness of your Airtrack before use.
Can I wear shoes on my Airtrack?
The material is strong and resistant to this, but we advise not to wear shoes on the Airtrack. This can cause damage and leakage. There may just be a stone under the shoe or something else sharp that causes the Airtrack to leak.
My Airtrack is slowly losing air. What should I do now?
The hardness of your Airtrack can be subject to temperature. Air expands when heated. If it was warmer the day before, it can indeed seem like your Airtrack is running out. You can check this by leaving your Airtrack in a place with the same temperature for 24 hours.
If your Airtrack remains softer after those 24 hours than before, you may have to tighten the lid. You can do this by tightening the flap clockwise with the plastic key that you received with your Airtrack.
You can also check the spring-loaded pin in the middle of the valve to see if it springs back properly after inflation. With new Airtracks this is sometimes a bit difficult. You can solve this by pushing the pin in and out a few times or spraying a little bit of WD40 on it.
If this does not solve the problem, it may be that there is a leak in your Airtrack. To find and solve this, we would like to refer you to a detailed explanation on this page.
How do I maintain my Airtrack?
Clean your Airtrack when necessary. You should preferably do this with a cloth/sponge and lukewarm water. If you still want to use a cleaning agent, we recommend a mild cleaning agent such as green soap. Make sure your Airtrack is thoroughly dry before storing it.
Can I also contact you for repairs?
Yes, that is possibly. possible. 12SPRINGS also takes care of repairs to your Airtrack if a leak occurs and you cannot solve it yourself with the supplied repair kit.
