zonder titel 599 x 396

An Airtrack on which you can somersault, jump, hopscotch, flop, play, do yoga poses or even a game of twister! It’s all possible on this specially designed PLAYTRACK, which provides a safe surface to play and exercise on. The PLAYTRACK comes with assignment cards and is ideal for home use, at host parents, daycare centers, BSOs, preschools, schools, preschool and kindergarten … And anyway a must-have if you love gymnastics. For example, how much fun is it to practice a beam track on the line of the PLAYTRACK. Gymnastics stars Fayliene and Jolyne tested out the PLAYTRACK and together with their mother Patricia they share their experience with you below.

Super cool package inside: the PLAYTRACK

“Fayliene really likes gymnastics and Jolyne has also been in gymnastics for a year. First she was with the toddlers and recently she started training with the preschoolers. Here she does more and more exercises and gets to know the bridge, horizontal bar, beam, rings, trampoline and the mat. What would they think of the new PLAYTRACK?

Last week we received a super cool package from 12SPRINGS. The PLAYTRACK was in it! This Airtrack was developed in collaboration with Kleuren Turnen. We think it is a must-have for kids who love gymnastics. They can of course do somersaults, bridges, practice flikflaks, do cartwheels and it also comes with lots of assignments.

What’s included with the PLAYTRACK?

The PLAYTRACK has two sides that are printed. One side shows the numbers 1 through 28 and the other side shows all the letters of the alphabet in colored shapes. It comes with a Playbox containing 240 assignment cards. The tasks are suitable for children from 3 years to about 12 years. There are 6 different themes, divided into 3 categories.

Brain: numbers, letters and words, movement tasks and shapes
Play: movement tasks and animals, twister
Relax: yoga

The Playbox with these assignment cards comes standard with the PLAYTRACK. It also comes with an electric pump to inflate the mat. Handy! You can also order a mint green storage bag to store the PLAYTRACK in and a non-slip mat to put underneath to prevent shifting and damage.

What do the girls think of the PLAYTRACK?

The girls really find the PLAYTRACK super fun to play with. First it was in the living room and the first few days they played with it non stop. Now the PLAYTRACK is in Fayliene’s room and they play a lot of Twister on it, but she also practices her beam track on the thin line of the Airtrack and practices her handstand to bridge quite a bit. Jolyne really enjoys practicing with the numbers. She enjoys counting and counting backwards in this playful way. Preferably together with her big sisters.

An Airtrack for moving and learning

Secretly, I also look at it with a teacher’s eye. Although of course I am now working in Secondary Education, I once did the PABO and started as an elementary school teacher. I would also definitely recommend this PLAYTRACK for the playroom, gymnasium or for example in the hallway with the preschoolers. Now it is not everywhere that you have a big hall, but otherwise it is very nice to teach them the numbers there using the PLAYTRACK. Also for recognizing letters, this mat is really fun! Moving and learning at the same time, a very nice combo!

In short my girls love it and I highly recommend this mat for home and also for BSO, schools, PSZ and daycare. And of course it is totally fun and educational for gymnastics clubs.
